That "web presence" became an on-line magazine dedicated to the arts to allow anyone to share their God-given gifts with the world at no cost to them. It was first published in January 2005 as step3music.com magazine with 7 pages of links and information about Christian music and addiction recovery.
Today, God's Will Ministries is made up of several ministries and websites, including Pillars Magazine, that consist of over 300 webpages and now reaches people across the country and around the world!
From Joe: The third step in a well known 12-step recovery program is "...made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God." This is where the original name was derived from. It was how I HAD to live in order to survive. I now talk with people all over the world through personal contact, email and instant messaging who are seeking help and information about addiction, depression, faith issues and other problems. I'm just here to listen and to tell them about my own experience, strength and hope. I also refer them to other programs that I KNOW to be the best Christian based programs available.
When I started this ministry, I had no idea what I was in for. There are so many people who need that "help and hope". I only know that God has led me to this point in my life and that He guides me in every decision that is made pertaining to this ministry. My desire to form this ministry, to become a minister, and then a priest, and to dedicate so much of my life to it, is a direct result of a very long period of prayer and careful thought. My own path in addiction recovery has been nothing short of miraculous. I never could have imagined the joy that I feel through His awesome love and the through the light of His Holy Spirit.
I have so much gratitude and love for the Lord for helping me to see again, and it is only by His grace that I am alive and sharing this with you today. The people He has placed around me as part of this family are truly God given gifts and are the real reason that this ministry is what it is now. We all share, in some way, our own personal gifts, blessings, joys and sorrows, and we pray that someone else may benefit from them and find in all of us together, some answers, inspiration, strength, love and especially something we all want and need.... a little "help and hope".

Salvation: To Know our Lord!
“The LORD is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life, of whom shall I be afraid?” Psalm 27:1
I am often asked about salvation and what it means to be a Christian. I do my best to explain it in a way that makes sense. It is extremely gratifying to me that someone who may or may not be a Christian will hopefully now have a better understanding of what it means to have a relationship with our Savior Jesus Christ. I MUST live by my faith, which is irritating to some, confusing to others, but also accepted and understood by many who know Him.
Pastor Rick Warren, of the Saddleback Church, explains all of this clearly and eloquently in this video. Pastor Warren is the founder of Purpose Driven Ministries and the author of the best selling book, The Purpose Driven Life. His inspiring words are well-spoken and make perfect sense to Christians and non-Christians alike. This video is approximately 13 minutes long, but it is definitely well worth watching, and if you’re curious at all, thirteen minutes isn’t much of an investment when we’re talking about peace, happiness, and eternal life, is it?

We generate a small percentage of our financial support through advertising, fundraising and other services, but the majority of our operating expenses come from donations and gifts from caring and generous people like YOU!
As our growth and expansion increases, our costs to maintain this ministry and all of our free services also increase dramatically. We are in constant need of support so that we may continue to reach out to others and provide the resources necessary to bring them into God's family. The number of emails we receive is a wonderful testament to the fact that we are indeed reaching many people, making a difference, and changing lives.
All donations (no matter how big or small) are gratefully received and would be a huge help in keeping GWM and Pillars Magazine a continuing and viable source of "help and hope".
