Ro4:9 Is this  only for the circumcised, or also for the uncircumcised? We have been saying that Abraham's faith was credited to him as righteousness.

Ro4:10 Under what circumstances was it credited? Was it after he was circumcised, or before? It was not after, but before!

Ro4:11 And he received circumcision as a sign, a seal of the righteousness that he had by faith while he was still uncircumcised. So then, he is the father of all who believe but have not been circumcised, in order that righteousness might be credited to them.

Ro4:12And he is then also the father of the circumcised who not only are circumcised but who also follow in the footsteps of the faith that our father Abraham had before he was circumcised.

 Ro4:13 It was not through the law that Abraham and his offspring received the promise that he would be heir of the world, but through the righteousness that comes by faith.

Ro4:22 This is why "it was credited to him as righteousness."

Ro4:23The words "it was credited to him" were written not for him alone,

Ro4:24 but also for us, to whom God will credit righteousness—for us who believe in him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead.

Ro5:6You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly

Ro5:17For if, by the trespasses of the one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God’s abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man, Jesus Christ

Ro5:18Consequently, just as one trespass resulted in condemnation for all people, so also one righteous act resulted in justification and life for all.

Ro5:19For just as through the disobedience of the one man the many were made sinners, so also through the obedience of the one man the many will be made righteous( Lk6:40Students are not above their teacher, but all who are fully trained will be like their teacher. )

Ro5:21 so that, just as sin reigned in death, so also grace might reign through righteousness to bring eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Ro6:13Do not offer any part of yourself to sin as an instrument of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer every part of yourself to Him as an instrument of righteousness

Ro6:16Don’t you know that when you offer yourselves to someone as obedient slaves, you are always slaves of the one you obey- whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness

Ro6:18You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness

Ro6:19I am using an example from everyday life because of your human limitations. Just as you used to offer yourselves as slaves to impurity and to ever increasing wickedness, so now offer yourselves as slaves to righteousness leading to holiness

 Ro 6:20 When you were slaves to sin, you were free from the control of righteousness.

Ro 6:22 But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves of God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life

Ro7:12 So then, the law is holy, and the commandment is holy, righteous and good.

Ro8:4in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fully met in us, who do not live according to the sinful nature but according to the Spirit

Ro8:10But if Christ is in you, then even though your body is subject to death because of sin, the Spirit gives life because of righteousness

Ro8:29For those God foreknew He has also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brothers and sisters

Ro9:30 What then shall we say? That the Gentiles, who did not pursue righteousness, have obtained it, a righteousness that is by faith;

Ro9:31but the people of Israel, who pursued the law as the way of righteousness, have not attained their goal.

Ro9:32 Why not? Because they pursued it not by faith but as if it were by works. They stumbled over the stumbling stone.

Ro10:3 Since they did not know the righteousness of God and sought to establish their own, they did not submit to God's righteousness.

Ro10:4Christ is the culmination of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes.

Ro10:5Moses writes this about the righteousness that is by the law: "Whoever does these things will live by them."

Ro10:6But the righteousness that is by faith says: "Do not say in your heart, 'Who will ascend into heaven?' " (that is, to bring Christ down)

Ro14:17For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit

1Cor 1:30It is because of Him that you are in Christ Jesus, who has become for us wisdom from God-that is, our righteousness, holiness and redemption

1Cor 15:49And just as we have borne the image of the earthly man so shall we bear the image of the heavenly man.

1Cor15:54When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true:Death has been swallowed up in victory

2Cor3.9 If the ministry that brought condemnation was glorious, how much more glorious is the ministry that brings righteousness!

2Cor 3:18and we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into His image with ever increasing glory, which comes from the lord, who is the Spirit.

2Cor5.21God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

2Cor6:7in truthful speech and in the power of God; with weapons of righteousness in the right hand and in the left;

2Cor6:14Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness.

2Cor9:9As it is written: “They have scattered abroad their gifts to the poor; their righteousness endures forever.

2Cor9:10Now He who supplies seed to the sower and bread for food will also supply and increase your store of seed and will enlarge the harvest of your righteousness.

2Cor11:15It is not surprising, then, if his servants also masquerade as servants of righteousness. Their end will be what their actions deserve.

Gal2.21do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!"

Gal3.6So also Abraham "believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness."

Gal3.11Clearly no one is justified before God by the law, because "the righteous will live by faith."

Gal3.21Is the law, therefore, opposed to the promises of God? Absolutely not!  For if a law had been given that could impart life, then righteousness would certainly have come by the law.

Gal5:5 But by faith we eagerly await through the Spirit the righteousness for which we hope.

Heb11:7 By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family. By his faith he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that is in keeping with faith.

Heb12:11No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.

Heb12:22But you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the Living God, the heavenly Jerusalem. You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly

Heb12:23to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven. You have come to God, the judge of all the spirits of the righteous made perfect

Heb12:24To Jesus the Mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel

Ja1.20because our anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires.

2Pet1:1Simon Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, To those who through the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ have received a faith as precious as ours:

2Pet2:5 if he did not spare the ancient world when he brought the flood on its ungodly people, but protected Noah, a preacher of righteousness, and seven others;

2Pet2:7 and if he rescued Lot, a righteous man, who was distressed by the depraved conduct of the lawless

2Pet2:8 (for that righteous man, living among them day after day, was tormented in his righteous soul by the lawless deeds he saw and heard)—

2Pet2:9 if this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue the godly from trials and to hold the unrighteous for punishment on the day of judgment.

2Pet2:21It would have been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than to have known it and then to turn their backs on the sacred command that was passed on to them.
