Exo34:27Then the LORD said to Moses, “Write down these words, for in accordance with these words I have made a covenant with you and with Israel.”

Exo34:28 Moses was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights without eating bread or drinking water. And he wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant—the Ten Commandments.

Deu10:2 I will write on the tablets the words that were on the first tablets, which you broke. Then you are to put them in the ark.”

Deu10:4 The LORD wrote on these tablets what he had written before, the Ten Commandments he had proclaimed to you on the mountain, out of the fire, on the day of the assembly. And the LORD gave them to me.

Deu10:5 Then I came back down the mountain and put the tablets in the ark I had made, as the LORD commanded me, and they are there now.

Deu17:19 It is to be with him, and he is to read it all the days of his life so that he may learn to revere the LORD his God and follow carefully all the words of this law and these decrees

Deu17:20 and not consider himself better than his fellow Israelites and turn from the law to the right or to the left. Then he and his descendants will reign a long time over his kingdom in Israel.

Deu27:3Write on them all the words of this law when you have crossed over to enter the land the LORD your God is giving you, a land flowing with milk and honey, just as the LORD, the God of your ancestors, promised you.

Deu27:8And you shall write very clearly all the words of this law on these stones you have set up.”

Deu27:26“Cursed is anyone who does not uphold the words of this law by carrying them out.” Then all the people shall say, “Amen!”

Deu29:1These are the terms of the covenant the LORD commanded Moses to make with the Israelites in Moab, in addition to the covenant he had made with them at Horeb.

Deu29:29 The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may follow all the words of this law.

Deu31:24 After Moses finished writing in a book the words of this law from beginning to end,

Deu31:25he gave this command to the Levites who carried the ark of the covenant of the LORD:

Deu31:26 “Take this Book of the Law and place it beside the ark of the covenant of the LORD your God. There it will remain as a witness against you.

Jos8:31 as Moses the servant of the LORD had commanded the Israelites. He built it according to what is written in the Book of the Law of Moses—an altar of uncut stones, on which no iron tool had been used. On it they offered to the LORD burnt offerings and sacrificed fellowship offerings.

Jos8:32There, in the presence of the Israelites, Joshua wrote on stones a copy of the law of Moses.

Jos8:34 Afterward, Joshua read all the words of the lawthe blessings and the curses—just as it is written in the Book of the Law.

Jos8:35There was not a word of all that Moses had commanded that Joshua did not read to the whole assembly of Israel, including the women and children, and the foreigners who lived among them.

Jos24:26 And Joshua recorded these things in the Book of the Law of God. Then he took a large stone and set it up there under the oak near the holy place of the LORD.

2Ki15:12So the word of the LORD spoken to Jehu was fulfilled: “Your descendants will sit on the throne of Israel to the fourth generation.”

2Chro34:19When the king heard the words of the Law, he tore his robes.

2Chro34:30He went up to the temple of the LORD with the people of Judah, the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the priests and the Levites—all the people from the least to the greatest. He read in their hearing all the words of the Book of the Covenant, which had been found in the temple of the LORD.

Ezra9:4Then everyone who trembled at the words of the God of Israel gathered around me because of this unfaithfulness of the exiles. And I sat there appalled until the evening sacrifice.

Neh1:8 “Remember the instruction you gave your servant Moses, saying, ‘If you are unfaithful, I will scatter you among the nations,

Neh1:9but if you return to me and obey my commands, then even if your exiled people are at the farthest horizon, I will gather them from there and bring them to the place I have chosen as a dwelling for my Name.’

Neh8:9Then Nehemiah the governor, Ezra the priest and teacher of the Law, and the Levites who were instructing the people said to them all, “This day is holy to the LORD your God. Do not mourn or weep.” For all the people had been weeping as they listened to the words of the Law.

Neh8:13On the second day of the month, the heads of all the families, along with the priests and the Levites, gathered around Ezra the teacher to give attention to the words of the Law.

Pro2:1My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you,

Pro4:4Then he taught me, and he said to me, "Take hold of my words with all your heart; keep my commands, and you will live.

who rule this people in Jerusalem.

Zec1:6But did not my words and my decrees, which I commanded my servants the prophets, overtake your ancestors? “Then they repented and said, ‘The LORD Almighty has done to us what our ways and practices deserve, just as he determined to do.’”

Zec7:7Are these not the words the LORD proclaimed through the earlier prophets when Jerusalem and its surrounding towns were at rest and prosperous, and the Negev and the western foothills were settled?’”

Zec12:1A prophecy: The word of the LORD concerning Israel. The LORD, who stretches out the heavens, who lays the foundation of the earth, and who forms the human spirit within a person, declares:

Mt2:5 "In Bethlehem in Judea," they replied, "for this is what the prophet has written:

Mt2:6" 'But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah; for out of you will come a ruler who will shepherd my people Israel.' "

Mt4:4Jesus answered, "It is written: 'People do not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.' "

Mt4:6"If you are the Son of God," he said, "throw yourself down. For it is written: " 'He will command his angels concerning you, and they will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.' "

Mt4:7Jesus answered him, "It is also written: 'Do not put the Lord your God to the test.' "

Mt4:10 Jesus said to him, "Away from me, Satan! For it is written: 'Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.' "

Mt4:23 Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people.

Mt7:24 "Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and puts them into practice is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.

Mt7:26But everyone who hears these words of mine and does not put them into practice is like a foolish man who built his house on sand.

Mt8:8The centurion replied, "Lord, I do not deserve to have you come under my roof. But just say the word, and my servant will be healed.

Mt11:5 The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is proclaimed to the poor.

Mt11:10 This is the one about whom it is written: " 'I will send my messenger ahead of you, who will prepare your way before you.'

Mt12:7If you had known what these words mean, 'I desire mercy, not sacrifice,' you would not have condemned the innocent.

Mt13:20 The seed falling on rocky ground refers to people who hear the word and at once receive it with joy.

Mt13:21 But since they have no root, they last only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, they quickly fall away.

Mt13:22The seed falling among the thorns refers to people who hear the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, making it unfruitful.

Mt13:23But the seed falling on good soil refers to people who hear the word and understand it. They produce a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown."

Mt15:6 they are not to 'honor their father or mother' with it. Thus you nullify the word of God for the sake of your tradition.

Mt19:11Jesus replied, "Not everyone can accept this word, but only those to whom it has been given.

Mt21:13"It is written," he said to them, " 'My house will be called a house of prayer,' but you are making it 'a den of robbers.' "

Mt21:42Jesus said to them, "Have you never read in the Scriptures: " 'The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone; the Lord has done this, and it is marvellous in our eyes'?

Mt22:15Then the Pharisees went out and laid plans to trap him in his words.

Mt22:16They sent their disciples to him along with the Herodians. "Teacher," they said, "we know that you are a man of integrity and that you teach the way of God in accordance with the truth. You aren't swayed by others, because you pay no attention to who they are.

Mt22:29Jesus replied, "You are in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God.

Mt24:14And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

Mt24:35 Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.

Mt26:24The Son of Man will go just as it is written about him. But woe to that man who betrays the Son of Man! It would be better for him if he had not been born."

Mt26:31Then Jesus told them, "This very night you will all fall away on account of me, for it is written: " 'I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock will be scattered.'

Mt26:54But how then would the Scriptures be fulfilled that say it must happen in this way?"

Mt27:37Above his head they placed the written charge against him: THIS IS JESUS, THE KING OF THE JEWS.

Mt28:20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.

Mk1:1The beginning of the good news about Jesus the Messiah,

Mk1:2as it is written in Isaiah the prophet: "I will send my messenger ahead of you, who will prepare your way"—

Mk1:14After John was put in prison, Jesus went into Galilee, proclaiming the good news of God.

Mk2:2They gathered in such large numbers that there was no room left, not even outside the door, and he preached the word to them.

Mk4:14 The farmer sows the word.

Mk4:15 Some people are like seed along the path, where the word is sown. As soon as they hear it, Satan comes and takes away the word that was sown in them.

Mk4:16Others, like seed sown on rocky places, hear the word and at once receive it with joy.

Mk4:17 But since they have no root, they last only a short time. When trouble or persecution comes because of the word, they quickly fall away.

Mk4:18 Still others, like seed sown among thorns, hear the word;

Mk4:19 but the worries of this life, the deceitfulness of wealth and the desires for other things come in and choke the word, making it unfruitful.

Mk4:20 Others, like seed sown on good soil, hear the word, accept it, and produce a crop—some thirty, some sixty, some a hundred times what was sown."

Mk4:33With many similar parables Jesus spoke the word to them, as much as they could understand.

Mk7:6He replied, "Isaiah was right when he prophesied about you hypocrites; as it is written: " 'These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.

Mk7:13Thus you nullify the word of God by your tradition that you have handed down. And you do many things like that."

Mk8:38If any of you are ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of you when he comes in his Father's glory with the holy angels."

Mk9:12Jesus replied, "To be sure, Elijah does come first, and restores all things. Why then is it written that the Son of Man must suffer much and be rejected?

Mk9:13But I tell you, Elijah has come, and they have done to him everything they wished, just as it is written about him."

Mk10:24The disciples were amazed at his words. But Jesus said again, "Children, how hard it is to enter the kingdom of God!

Mk10:29"Truly I tell you," Jesus replied, "no one who has left home or brothers or sisters or mother or father or children or fields for me and the gospel

Mk11:17And as he taught them, he said, "Is it not written: 'My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations'? But you have made it 'a den of robbers.'"

Mk12:10Haven't you read this passage of Scripture: " 'The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone;

Mk12:13Later they sent some of the Pharisees and Herodians to Jesus to catch him in his words.

Mk12:14They came to him and said, "Teacher, we know that you are a man of integrity. You aren't swayed by others, because you pay no attention to who they are; but you teach the way of God in accordance with the truth. Is it right to pay the imperial tax to Caesar or not?

Mk12:24Jesus replied, "Are you not in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God?

Mk12:26Now about the dead rising—have you not read in the Book of Moses, in the account of the burning bush, how God said to him, 'I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob'?

Mk13:10And the gospel must first be preached to all nations

Mk13:31Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.

Mk14:9Truly I tell you, wherever the gospel is preached throughout the world, what she has done will also be told, in memory of her."

Mk14:21The Son of Man will go just as it is written about him. But woe to that man who betrays the Son of Man! It would be better for him if he had not been born."

Mk14:27"You will all fall away," Jesus told them, "for it is written: " 'I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered.'

Mk14:49Every day I was with you, teaching in the temple courts, and you did not arrest me. But the Scriptures must be fulfilled."

Mk14:72Immediately the rooster crowed the second time. Then Peter remembered the word Jesus had spoken to him: "Before the rooster crows twice you will disown me three times." And he broke down and wept.

Mk15:26The written notice of the charge against him read: THE KING OF THE JEWS

Mk16:15He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.

Mk16:20 Then the disciples went out and preached everywhere, and the Lord worked with them and confirmed his word by the signs that accompanied it.

Lk1:2just as they were handed down to us by those who from the first were eyewitnesses and servants of the word.

Lk1:37For no word from God will ever fail."

Lk1:19The angel said to him, "I am Gabriel. I stand in the presence of God, and I have been sent to speak to you and to tell you this good news.

Lk2:10But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people.

Lk2:23(as it is written in the Law of the Lord, "Every firstborn male is to be consecrated to the Lord"),

Lk3:2during the high-priesthood of Annas and Caiaphas, the word of God came to John son of Zechariah in the wilderness.

Lk3:4As it is written in the book of the words of Isaiah the prophet:
"A voice of one calling in the wilderness, 'Prepare
the way for the Lord, make straight paths for him.

Lk3:18And with many other words John exhorted the people and proclaimed the good news to them.

Lk4:4Jesus answered, "It is written: 'People do not live on bread alone.' "

Lk4:8Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Worship the Lord your God and serve him only.' "

Lk4:10For it is written: " 'He will command his angels concerning you to guard you carefully;

Lk4:17 and the scroll of the prophet Isaiah was handed to him. Unrolling it, he found the place where it is written:

Lk4:18"The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free,

Lk4:19 to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor."

Lk4:20Then he rolled up the scroll, gave it back to the attendant and sat down. The eyes of everyone in the synagogue were fastened on him.

Lk4:21He began by saying to them, "Today this scripture is fulfilled in your hearing."

Lk4:32 They were amazed at his teaching, because his words had authority.

Lk4:36 All the people were amazed and said to each other, "What words these are! With authority and power he gives orders to evil spirits and they come out!"

Lk4:43But he said, "I must proclaim the good news of the kingdom of God to the other towns also, because that is why I was sent."

Lk5:1One day as Jesus was standing by the Lake of Gennesaret, the people were crowding around him and listening to the word of God.

Lk6:47 As for those who come to me and hear my words and put them into practice, I will show you what they are like.

Lk6:49But those who hear my words and do not put them into practice are like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. The moment the torrent struck that house, it collapsed and its destruction was complete."

Lk7:7That is why I did not even consider myself worthy to come to you. But say the word, and my servant will be healed.

Lk7:22So he replied to the messengers, "Go back and report to John what you have seen and heard: The blind receive sight, the lame walk, those who have leprosy are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, and the good news is proclaimed to the poor.

Lk7:27This is the one about whom it is written:" 'I will send my messenger ahead of you, who will prepare your way before you.'

Lk7:29(All the people, even the tax collectors, when they heard Jesus' words, acknowledged that God's way was right, because they had been baptized by John.

Lk8:1After this, Jesus traveled about from one town and village to another, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom of God. The Twelve were with him,

Lk8:11"This is the meaning of the parable: The seed is the word of God.

Lk8:12Those along the path are the ones who hear, and then the devil comes and takes away the word from their hearts, so that they may not believe and be saved.

LK8:13Those on the rock are the ones who receive the word with joy when they hear it, but they have no root. They believe for a while, but in the time of testing they fall away.

Lk8:15But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a crop.

Lk8:21He replied, "My mother and brothers are those who hear God's word and put it into practice."

Lk9:6So they set out and went from village to village, proclaiming the good news and healing people everywhere.

Lk9:26If any of you are ashamed of me and my words, the Son of Man will be ashamed of you when he comes in his glory and in the glory of the Father and of the holy angels.

Lk10:20However, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven."

Lk10:26"What is written in the Law?" he replied. "How do you read it?"

Lk11:28 He replied, "Blessed rather are those who hear the word of God and obey it

Lk16:16"The Law and the Prophets were proclaimed until John. Since that time, the good news of the kingdom of God is being preached, and people are forcing their way into it.

Lk18:31Jesus took the Twelve aside and told them, "We are going up to Jerusalem, and everything that is written by the prophets about the Son of Man will be fulfilled.

Lk19:46"It is written," he said to them," 'My house will be a house of prayer'; but you have made it 'a den of robbers.' "

Lk19:48Yet they could not find any way to do it, because all the people hung on his words.

Lk20:1One day as Jesus was teaching the people in the temple courts and proclaiming the good news, the chief priests and the teachers of the law, together with the elders, came up to him.

Lk20:17Jesus looked directly at them and asked, "Then what is the meaning of that which is written: " 'The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone'?

Lk20:21 So the spies questioned him: "Teacher, we know that you speak and teach what is right, and that you do not show partiality but teach the way of God in accordance with the truth.

Lk20:42David himself declares in the Book of Psalms: " 'The Lord said to my Lord: "Sit at my right hand

Lk21:15For I will give you words and wisdom that none of your adversaries will be able to resist or contradict.

Lk21:22For this is the time of punishment in fulfillment of all that has been written.

Lk21:33Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.

Lk22:37It is written: 'And he was numbered with the transgressors'; and I tell you that this must be fulfilled in me. Yes, what is written about me is reaching its fulfillment."

Lk22:61The Lord turned and looked straight at Peter. Then Peter remembered the word the Lord had spoken to him: "Before the rooster crows today, you will disown me three times."

Lk23:38 There was a written notice above him, which read: THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.

Lk24:19"What things?" he asked."About Jesus of Nazareth," they replied. "He was a prophet, powerful in word and deed before God and all the people.

Lk24:27And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he explained to them what was said in all the Scriptures concerning himself.

Lk24:32They asked each other, "Were not our hearts burning within us while he talked with us on the road and opened the Scriptures to us?"

Lk24:44He said to them, "This is what I told you while I was still with you: Everything must be fulfilled that is written about me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets and the Psalms."

Lk24:45Then he opened their minds so they could understand the Scriptures.

Jn1.1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

Jn1:2He was with God in the beginning.

Jn1:14 The word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. We have seen His Glory, the Glory of the One and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth

Jn1:17For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

Jn1:23John replied in the words of Isaiah the prophet, "I am the voice of one calling in the wilderness, 'Make straight the way for the Lord.' "

Jn2:17 His disciples remembered that it is written: "Zeal for your house will consume me."

Jn2:22After he was raised from the dead, his disciples recalled what he had said. Then they believed the scripture and the words that Jesus had spoken.

Jn3:21But those who live by the truth come into the light, so that it may be seen plainly that what they have done has been done in the sight of God.

Jn3:33The person who has accepted it has certified that God is truthful.

Jn3:34For the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives the Spirit without limit.

Jn4:23Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in the Spirit and in truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.

Jn4:24God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in the Spirit and in truth."

Jn4:41And because of his words many more became believers.

Jn4:50"Go," Jesus replied, "your son will live." The man took Jesus at his word and departed.

Jn5:24"Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life.

Jn5:33"You have sent to John and he has testified to the truth.

Jn5:38nor does his word dwell in you, for you do not believe the one he sent.

Jn5:39You study the Scriptures diligently because you think that in them you possess eternal life. These are the very Scriptures that testify about me,

Jn6.31 Our ancestors ate the manna in the wilderness; as it is written: 'He gave them bread from heaven to eat.' "

Jn6.45It is written in the Prophets: 'They will all be taught by God.' Everyone who has heard the Father and learned from him comes to me.

Jn6.68 Simon Peter answered him, "Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.

Jn7:18Whoever speaks on their own does so to gain personal glory, but he who seeks the glory of the one who sent him is a man of truth; there is nothing false about him.

Jn7:38Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them."

Jn7:40On hearing his words, some of the people said, "Surely this man is the Prophet."

Jn7:42Does not Scripture say that the Messiah will come from David's descendants and from Bethlehem, the town where David lived?"

Jn8:20He spoke these words while teaching in the temple courts near the place where the offerings were put. Yet no one seized him, because his hour had not yet come.

Jn8:32Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."

Jn8:37I know you are Abraham's descendants. Yet you are looking for a way to kill me, because you have no room for my word.

Jn8:40As it is, you are looking for a way to kill me, a man who has told you the truth that I heard from God. Abraham did not do such things.

Jn8:44You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

Jn8:45Yet because I tell the truth, you do not believe me!

Jn8:46Can any of you prove me guilty of sin? If I am telling the truth, why don't you believe me?

Jn8:51Very truly I tell you, whoever obeys My word will never see death

Jn8:52At this they exclaimed, "Now we know that you are demon-possessed! Abraham died and so did the prophets, yet you say that whoever obeys your word will never taste death.

Jn8:55Though you do not know him, I know him. If I said I did not, I would be a liar like you, but I do know him and obey his word.

Jn10:14Jesus found a young donkey and sat on it, as it is written:

Jn10:15"Do not be afraid, Daughter Zion; see, your king is coming, seated on a donkey's colt."

Jn10:16At first his disciples did not understand all this. Only after Jesus was glorified did they realize that these things had been written about him and that these things had been done to him.

Jn10:19The Jews who heard these words were again divided.

Jn10:34Jesus answered them, "Is it not written in your Law, 'I have said you are "gods" '?

Jn10:35If he called them 'gods,' to whom the word of God came—and Scripture cannot be broken—

Jn12:17Now the crowd that was with him when he called Lazarus from the tomb and raised him from the dead continued to spread the word.

Jn12:47"As for those who hear my words but do not keep them, I do not judge them. For I did not come to judge the world, but to save the world.

Jn12:48There is a judge for those who reject me and do not accept my words; the very words I have spoken will condemn them at the last day.

Jn13:18"I am not referring to all of you; I know those I have chosen. But this is to fulfil this passage of Scripture: 'He who shared my bread has lifted up his heel against me.'

Jn14:6Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Jn14:10Don't you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father, living in me, who is doing his work.

Jn14:17the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.

Jn14:21Whoever has my commands and keeps them is the one who loves me. Anyone who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I too will love them and show myself to them."

Jn14:24Anyone who does not love me will not obey my teaching. These words you hear are not my own; they belong to the Father who sent me.

Jn15:3You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you.

Jn15:7If you remain in Me and My words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you

Jn15:25But this is to fulfill what is written in their Law: 'They hated me without reason.'

Jn15:26 "When the Advocate comes, whom I will send to you from the Fatherthe Spirit of truth who goes out from the Fatherhe will testify about me.

Jn16:13But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.

Jn17:6"I have revealed you to those whom you gave me out of the world. They were yours; you gave them to me and they have obeyed your word.

Jn17:8For I gave them the words you gave me and they accepted them. They knew with certainty that I came from you, and they believed that you sent me.

Jn17:12While I was with them, I protected them and kept them safe by [z] that name you gave me. None has been lost except the one doomed to destruction so that Scripture would be fulfilled.

Jn17:14I have given them your word and the world has hated them, for they are not of the world any more than I am of the world.

Jn17:17Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth

Jn18:9This happened so that the words he had spoken would be fulfilled: "I have not lost one of those you gave me."

Jn18:37"You are a king, then!" said Pilate. Jesus answered, "You say that I am a king. In fact, the reason I was born and came into the world is to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to me."

Jn19:24"Let's not tear it," they said to one another. "Let's decide by lot who will get it." This happened that the scripture might be fulfilled that said, "They divided my clothes among them and cast lots for my garment." So this is what the soldiers did.

Jn19:28Later, knowing that everything had now been finished, and so that Scripture would be fulfilled, Jesus said, "I am thirsty."

Jn19:36These things happened so that the scripture would be fulfilled: "Not one of his bones will be broken,"

Jn19:37and, as another scripture says, "They will look on the one they have pierced."

Jn20:9(They still did not understand from Scripture that Jesus had to rise from the dead.)

Jn20:30Jesus performed many other signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not recorded in this book.

Jn20:31But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.

Jn21:25Jesus did many other things as well. If every one of them were written down, I suppose that even the whole world would not have room for the books that would be written.

Ac1:1In my former book, Theophilus, I wrote about all that Jesus began to do and to teach

Ac1:16and said, "Brothers and sisters, the Scripture had to be fulfilled in which the Holy Spirit spoke long ago through David concerning Judas, who served as guide for those who arrested Jesus.

Ac1:20"For," said Peter, "it is written in the Book of Psalms:
" 'May his place be deserted; let there be no one to dwell in it,' and, " 'May another take his place of leadership.'

Ac4:29Now, Lord, consider their threats and enable your servants to speak your word with great boldness.

Ac4:31After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.

Ac5:42Day after day, in the temple courts and from house to house, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Messiah.

Ac6:2So the Twelve gathered all the disciples together and said, "It would not be right for us to neglect the ministry of the word of God in order to wait on tables.

Ac6:4 and will give our attention to prayer and the ministry of the word."

Ac6:7So the word of God spread. The number of disciples in Jerusalem increased rapidly, and a large number of priests became obedient to the faith.

Ac7:38He was in the assembly in the wilderness, with the angel who spoke to him on Mount Sinai, and with our ancestors; and he received living words to pass on to us.

Ac7:42But God turned away from them and gave them over to the worship of the sun, moon and stars. This agrees with what is written in the book of the prophets: " 'Did you bring me sacrifices and offerings forty years in the wilderness, house of Israel?

Ac8:4Those who had been scattered preached the word wherever they went.

Ac8:12But when they believed Philip as he proclaimed the good news of the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.

Ac8:14When the apostles in Jerusalem heard that Samaria had accepted the word of God, they sent Peter and John to Samaria.

Ac8:25After they had further proclaimed the word of the Lord and testified about Jesus, Peter and John returned to Jerusalem, preaching the gospel in many Samaritan villages.

Ac8:28and on his way home was sitting in his chariot reading the Book of Isaiah the prophet

Ac8:32This is the passage of Scripture the eunuch was reading: "He was led like a sheep to the slaughter, and as a lamb before its shearer is silent, so he did not open his mouth.

Ac8:35 Then Philip began with that very passage of Scripture and told him the good news about Jesus.

Ac10:36 You know the message God sent to the people of Israel, announcing the good news of peace through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all.

Ac11:1The apostles and the believers throughout Judea heard that the Gentiles also had received the word of God.

Ac11:19Now those who had been scattered by the persecution that broke out when Stephen was killed traveled as far as Phoenicia, Cyprus and Antioch, spreading the word only among Jews.

Ac11:20Some of them, however, men from Cyprus and Cyrene, went to Antioch and began to speak to Greeks also, telling them the good news about the Lord Jesus.

Ac12:24But the word of God continued to increase and spread.

Ac13:5When they arrived at Salamis, they proclaimed the word of God in the Jewish synagogues. John was with them as their helper.

Ac13:7who was an attendant of the proconsul, Sergius Paulus. The proconsul, an intelligent man, sent for Barnabas and Saul because he wanted to hear the word of God.

Ac13:27The people of Jerusalem and their rulers did not recognize Jesus, yet in condemning him they fulfilled the words of the prophets that are read every Sabbath.

Ac13:29When they had carried out all that was written about him, they took him down from the cross and laid him in a tomb.

Ac13:32"We tell you the good news: What God promised our ancestors

Ac13:33 he has fulfilled for us, their children, by raising up Jesus. As it is written in the second Psalm: " 'You are my son; today I have become your father.'

Ac13:44On the next Sabbath almost the whole city gathered to hear the word of the Lord.

Ac13:46Then Paul and Barnabas answered them boldly: "We had to speak the word of God to you first. Since you reject it and do not consider yourselves worthy of eternal life, we now turn to the Gentiles.

Ac13:48When the Gentiles heard this, they were glad and honored the word of the Lord; and all who were appointed for eternal life believed.

Ac13:49The word of the Lord spread through the whole region.

Ac14:15"Friends, why are you doing this? We too are only human, like you. We are bringing you good news, telling you to turn from these worthless things to the living God, who made heaven and earth and sea and everything in them.

Ac14:25and when they had preached the word in Perga, they went down to Attalia.

Ac15:15The words of the prophets are in agreement with this, as it is :

Ac15:16" 'After this I will return and rebuild David's fallen tent.
       Its ruins
I will rebuild, and I will restore it,

Ac15:17that the rest of humanity may seek the Lord, even all the Gentiles who bear my name, says the Lord, who does these things'—

Ac15:18things known from long ago.

Ac15:35But Paul and Barnabas remained in Antioch, where they and many others taught and preached the word of the Lord.

Ac15:36Some time later Paul said to Barnabas, "Let us go back and visit the believers in all the towns where we preached the word of the Lord and see how they are doing."

Ac16:6Paul and his companions traveled throughout the region of Phrygia and Galatia, having been kept by the Holy Spirit from preaching the word in the province of Asia.

Ac16:32Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all the others in his house.

Ac17:11Now the Berean Jews were of more noble character than those in Thessalonica, for they received the message with great eagerness and examined the Scriptures every day to see if what Paul said was true.

Ac17:13But when the Jews in Thessalonica learned that Paul was preaching the word of God at Berea, some of them went there too, agitating the crowds and stirring them up.

Ac17:18A group of Epicurean and Stoic philosophers began to debate with him. Some of them asked, "What is this babbler trying to say?" Others remarked, "He seems to be advocating foreign gods." They said this because Paul was preaching the good news about Jesus and the resurrection.

Ac18:11So Paul stayed in Corinth for a year and a half, teaching them the word of God.

Ac18:24Meanwhile a Jew named Apollos, a native of Alexandria, came to Ephesus. He was a learned man, with a thorough knowledge of the Scriptures.

Ac18:28For he vigorously refuted the Jews in public debate, proving from the Scriptures that Jesus was the Messiah.

Ac19:10This went on for two years, so that all the Jews and Greeks who lived in the province of Asia heard the word of the Lord.

Ac19:20In this way the word of the Lord spread widely and grew in power.

Ac20:24However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God's grace.

Ac20:30Even from your own number some will arise and distort the truth in order to draw away disciples after them.

Ac20:32"Now I commit you to God and to the word of his grace, which can build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.

Ac20:35In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words the Lord Jesus himself said: 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.' "

Ac21:25As for the Gentile believers, we have written to them our decision that they should abstain from food sacrificed to idols, from blood, from the meat of strangled animals and from sexual immorality."

Ac22:14"Then he said: 'The God of our ancestors has chosen you to know his will and to see the Righteous One and to hear words from his mouth.

Ac23:5Paul replied, "Brothers, I did not realize that he was the high priest; for it is written: 'Do not speak evil about the ruler of your people.' "

Ac24:14However, I admit that I worship the God of our ancestors as a follower of the Way, which they call a sect. I believe everything that is in accordance with the Law and that is written in the Prophets,

Ac28:25They disagreed among themselves and began to leave after Paul had made this final statement: "The Holy Spirit spoke the truth to your ancestors when he said through Isaiah the prophet:

Ac28:26" 'Go to this people and say,"You will be ever hearing but never understanding; you will be ever seeing but never perceiving."

Ro1:1Paul, a servant of Christ Jesus, called to be an apostle and set apart for the gospel of God

Ro1:2the gospel he promised beforehand through his prophets in the Holy Scriptures

Ro1:9God, whom I serve in my spirit in preaching the gospel of his Son, is my witness how constantly I remember you

Ro1:15 That is why I am so eager to preach the gospel also to you who are in Rome.

Ro1:16 I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes: first to the Jew, then to the Gentile.

Ro1:17 For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed—a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is: "The righteous will live by faith."

Ro1:18The wrath of God is being revealed from heaven against all the godlessness and wickedness of human beings who suppress the truth by their wickedness,

Ro1:25They exchanged the truth about God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator—who is forever praised. Amen.

Ro2:2Now we know that God's judgment against those who do such things is based on truth.

Ro2:8 But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger

Ro2:13For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous in God’s sight, but it is those who obey the law who will be declared righteous

Ro2:15 They show that the requirements of the law are written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts now accusing, now even defending them.)

Ro2:16 This will take place on the day when God judges everyone's secrets through Jesus Christ, as my gospel declares.

Ro2:20 an instructor of the foolish, a teacher of infants, because you have in the law the embodiment of knowledge and truth

Ro2:24 As it is written: "God's name is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you."

Ro3:2Much in every way! First of all, the Jews have been entrusted with the very words of God.

Ro3:4 Not at all! Let God be true, and every human being a liar.As it is written:"So that you may be proved right when you speak and prevail when you judge." [h]

Ro3:10 As it is written: "There is no one righteous, not even one;

Ro4:3What does Scripture say? "Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness."

Ro4:17 As it is written: "I have made you a father of many nations." He is our father in the sight of God, in whom he believedthe God who gives life to the dead and calls into being things that were not.

Ro4:23 The words "it was credited to him" were written not for him alone,

Ro4:24but also for us, to whom God will credit righteousnessfor us who believe in him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead.

Ro7:6But now, by dying to what once bound us, we have been released from the law so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old way of the written code.

Ro8:36 As it is written: "For your sake we face death all day long; we are considered as sheep to be slaughtered."

Ro9:1 I speak the truth in Christ—I am not lying, my conscience confirms it through the Holy Spirit

Ro9:6It is not as though God's word had failed. For not all who are descended from Israel are Israel.

Ro9:13Just as it is written: "Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated."

Ro9:17For Scripture says to Pharaoh: "I raised you up for this very purpose, that I might display my power in you and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth."

Ro9:33 As it is written: "See, I lay in Zion a stone that causes people to stumble and a rock that makes them fall, and the one who believes in him will never be put to shame."

Ro10:8But what does it say? "The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart," that is, the message concerning faith that we proclaim:

Ro10:11As Scripture says, "Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame."

Ro10:15And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!"

Ro10:16But not all the Israelites accepted the good news. For Isaiah says, "Lord, who has believed our message?"

Ro10:17Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.

Ro10:18 But I ask: Did they not hear? Of course they did: "Their voice has gone out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world."

Ro11:2God did not reject his people, whom he foreknew. Don't you know what Scripture says in the passage about Elijah—how he appealed to God against Israel:

Ro11:8 as it is written: "God gave them a spirit of stupor, eyes that could not see and ears that could not hear, to this very day."

Ro11:26and in this way all Israel will be saved. As it is written: "The deliverer will come from Zion; he will turn godlessness away from Jacob.

Ro11:28As far as the gospel is concerned, they are enemies for your sake; but as far as election is concerned, they are loved on account of the patriarchs,

Ro12:19 Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God's wrath, for it is written: "It is mine to avenge; I will repay," says the Lord

Ro15:3For even Christ did not please himself but, as it is written: "The insults of those who insult you have fallen on me."

Ro15:4 For everything that was in the past was to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope.

Ro15:8For I tell you that Christ has become a servant of the Jews on behalf of God's truth, so that the promises made to the patriarchs might be confirmed

Ro15:9and, moreover, that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy. As it is written: "Therefore I will praise you among the Gentiles; I will sing the praises of your name."

Ro15:15 Yet I have written you quite boldly on some points to remind you of them again, because of the grace God gave me

Ro15:16to be a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles. He gave me the priestly duty of proclaiming the gospel of God, so that the Gentiles might become an offering acceptable to God, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.

Ro15:19 by the power of signs and wonders, through the power of the Spirit of God. So from Jerusalem all the way around to Illyricum, I have fully proclaimed the gospel of Christ.

Ro15:20It has always been my ambition to preach the gospel where Christ was not known, so that I would not be building on someone else's foundation.

Ro15:21Rather, as it is written: "Those who were not told about him will see, and those who have not heard will understand."

Ro16:25Now to him who is able to establish you in accordance with my gospel, the message I proclaim about Jesus Christ, in keeping with the revelation of the mystery hidden for long ages past

1Cor1:17For Christ did not send me to baptize, but to preach the gospel—not with wisdom and eloquence, lest the cross of Christ be emptied of its power.

1Cor1:18For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

1Cor1:19For it is written: "I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate."

1Cor1:31Therefore, as it is written: "Let those who boast boast in the Lord."

1Cor2:9However, as it is written: "What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived— these things God has prepared for those who love him"

1Cor2:9However, as it is written: "What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived— these things God has prepared for those who love him"

1Cor2:13This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit taught words

1Cor3:19For the wisdom of this world is foolishness in God's sight. As it is written: "He catches the wise in their craftiness"

1Cor4:6Now, brothers and sisters, I have applied these things to myself and Apollos for your benefit, so that you may learn from us the meaning of the saying, "Do not go beyond what is written." Then you will not be puffed up in being a follower of one of us over against the other

1Cor4:15Even if you had ten thousand guardians in Christ, you do not have many fathers, for in Christ Jesus I became your father through the gospel.

1Cor5:8Therefore let us keep the Festival, not with the old bread leavened with malice and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread of sincerity and truth.

1Cor5:9I wrote to you in my letter not to associate with sexually immoral people—

1Cor9:9For it is written in the Law of Moses: "Do not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain." Is it about oxen that God is concerned?

1Cor9:10Surely he says this for us, doesn't he? Yes, this was written for us, because when farmers plow and thresh, they should be able to do so in the hope of sharing in the harvest

1Cor9:12If others have this right of support from you, shouldn't we have it all the more? But we did not use this right. On the contrary, we put up with anything rather than hinder the gospel of Christ.

1Cor9:14In the same way, the Lord has commanded that those who preach the gospel should receive their living from the gospel.

1Cor9:16For when I preach the gospel, I cannot boast, since I am compelled to preach. Woe to me if I do not preach the gospel!

1Cor9:18What then is my reward? Just this: that in preaching the gospel I may offer it free of charge, and so not misuse my rights as a preacher of the gospel.

1Cor9:23I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings.

1Cor10:7 Do not be idolaters, as some of them were; as it is written: "The people sat down to eat and drink and got up to indulge in revelry."

1Cor10:11These things happened to them as examples and were written down as warnings for us, on whom the culmination of the ages has come.

1Cor13:6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.

1Cor14:21In the Law it is written: "With other tongues and through the lips of foreigners I will speak to this people, but even then they will not listen to me, says the Lord."

1Cor14:36Or did the word of God originate with you? Or are you the only people it has reached?

1Cor15:1Now, brothers and sisters, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand.

1Cor15:2By this gospel you are saved, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.

1Cor15:3For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures,

1Cor15:4that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,

1Cor15:45 So it is written: "The first Adam became a living being"; the last Adam, a life-giving spirit.

1Cor15:54 When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: "Death has been swallowed up in victory."

2Cor2:12Now when I went to Troas to preach the gospel of Christ and found that the Lord had opened a door for me,

2Cor2:17 Unlike so many, we do not peddle the word of God for profit. On the contrary, in Christ we speak before God with sincerity, as those sent from God.

2Cor3:2You yourselves are our letter, written on our hearts, known and read by everyone.

2Cor3:3You show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts.

2Cor4:2 Rather, we have renounced secret and shameful ways; we do not use deception, nor do we distort the word of God. On the contrary, by setting forth the truth plainly we commend ourselves to everyone's conscience in the sight of God.

2Cor4:3And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing.

2Cor4:4The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

2Cor4:13It is written: "I believed; therefore I have spoken." Since we have that same spirit of faith, we also believe and therefore speak,

2Cor6:7in truthful speech and in the power of God; with weapons of righteousness in the right hand and in the left;

2Cor8:15 as it is written: "The one who gathered much did not have too much, and the one who gathered little did not have too little."

2Cor8:18And we are sending along with him the brother who is praised by all the churches for his service to the gospel.

2Cor9:9As it is written: "They have scattered abroad their gifts to the poor; their righteousness endures forever."

2Cor9:13Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, people will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ, and for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else.

2Cor10:14We are not going too far in our boasting, as would be the case if we had not come to you, for we did get as far as you with the gospel of Christ.

2Cor10:16so that we can preach the gospel in the regions beyond you. For we do not want to boast about work already done in someone else's territory.

2Cor11:4For if someone comes to you and preaches a Jesus other than the Jesus we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the Spirit you received, or a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it easily enough.

2Cor11:7Was it a sin for me to lower myself in order to elevate you by preaching the gospel of God to you free of charge?

2Cor11:10 As surely as the truth of Christ is in me, nobody in the regions of Achaia will stop this boasting of mine.

2Cor12:6Even if I should choose to boast, I would not be a fool, because I would be speaking the truth. But I refrain, so no one will think more of me than is warranted by what I do or say,

2Cor13:8 For we cannot do anything against the truth, but only for the truth.

Gal2:5 We did not give in to them for a moment, so that the truth of the gospel might remain with you.

Gal2:14When I saw that they were not acting in line with the truth of the gospel, I said to Cephas in front of them all, "You are a Jew, yet you live like a Gentile and not like a Jew. How is it, then, that you force Gentiles to follow Jewish customs?

Gal3:8 Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, and announced the gospel in advance to Abraham: "All nations will be blessed through you."

Gal3:10 All who rely on observing the law are under a curse, for it is written: "Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law."

Gal3:13 Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: "Cursed is everyone who is hung on a pole."

Gal3:16 The promises were spoken to Abraham and to his seed. Scripture does not say "and to seeds," meaning many people, but "and to your seed," meaning one person, who is Christ.

Gal3:22But Scripture has locked up everything under the control of sin, so that what was promised, being given through faith in Jesus Christ, might be given to those who believe.

Gal4:16 Have I now become your enemy by telling you the truth?

Gal4:22For it is written that Abraham had two sons, one by the slave woman and the other by the free woman

Gal4:27 For it is written: "Be glad, barren woman,  you who never bore a child; shout for joy and cry aloud, you who were never in labor; because more are the children of the desolate woman
than of her who has a husband."

Gal4:30But what does Scripture say? "Get rid of the slave woman and her son, for the slave woman's son will never share in the inheritance with the free woman's son."

Gal5:7You were running a good race. Who cut in on you to keep you from obeying the truth?

Gal5:12 In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God's word all over again. You need milk, not solid food!

Gal6:6 Nevertheless, those who receive instruction in the word should share all good things with their instructor.

Eph1:13 And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit,

Eph3:3 that is, the mystery made known to me by revelation, as I have already written briefly.

Eph4:15Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will in all things grow up into him who is the head, that is, Christ.

Eph4:21when you heard about Christ and were taught in him in accordance with the truth that is in Jesus

Eph5:9 (for the fruit of the light consists in all goodness, righteousness and truth)

Eph5:26 to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word,

Eph6:14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place,

Eph6:15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace

Eph6:17Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God.

Phi1:5 because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now,

Phi1:7It is right for me to feel this way about all of you, since I have you in my heart and, whether I am in chains or defending and confirming the gospel, all of you share in God's grace with me.

Phi1:12Now I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that what has happened to me has actually served to advance the gospel.

Phi1:14And because of my chains, most of the brothers and sisters have become confident in the Lord and dare all the more to proclaim the gospel without fear.

Phi1:16 The latter do so out of love, knowing that I am put here for the defense of the gospel.

Phi1:27Whatever happens, as citizens of heaven live in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ. Then, whether I come and see you or only hear about you in my absence, I will know that you stand firm in the one Spirit, striving together with one accord for the faith of the gospel

Phi2.16 as you hold firmly to the word of life. And then I will be able to boast on the day of Christ that I did not run or labor in vain.

Phi2:22 But you know that Timothy has proved himself, because as a son with his father he has served with me in the work of the gospel.

Phi4:3Yes, and I ask you, my true companion, help these women since they have contended at my side in the cause of the gospel, along with Clement and the rest of my co-workers, whose names are in the book of life.

Phi4:15Moreover, as you Philippians know, in the early days of your acquaintance with the gospel, when I set out from Macedonia, not one church shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving, except you only;

Col1:5the faith and love that spring from the hope stored up for you in heaven and about which you have already heard in the true word of the gospel

Col1:6that has come to you. In the same way, the gospel is bearing fruit and growing throughout the whole world— just as it has been doing among you since the day you heard it and truly understood God's grace.

Col1:7 You learned it from Epaphras, our dear fellow servant, who is a faithful minister of Christ on our behalf

Col1:25I have become its servant by the commission God gave me to present to you the word of God in its fullness

1The1:5because our gospel came to you not simply with words but also with power, with the Holy Spirit and deep conviction. You know how we lived among you for your sake.

1The2:2We had previously suffered and been treated outrageously in Philippi, as you know, but with the help of our God we dared to tell you his gospel in the face of strong opposition.

1The2:4On the contrary, we speak as those approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel. We are not trying to please people but God, who tests our hearts.

1The2:8so we cared for you. Because we loved you so much, we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well.

1The2:9Surely you remember, brothers and sisters, our toil and hardship; we worked night and day in order not to be a burden to anyone while we preached the gospel of God to you.

1The2:13And we also thank God continually because, when you received the word of God, which you heard from us, you accepted it not as a human word, but as it actually is, the word of God, which is indeed at work in you who believe.

1The3:2We sent Timothy, who is our brother and co-worker in God's service in spreading the gospel of Christ, to strengthen and encourage you in your faith,

1The4:15According to the Lord's word, we tell you that we who are still alive, who are left till the coming of the Lord, will certainly not precede those who have fallen asleep.

1The4:18Therefore encourage one another with these words.

2The1:8He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.

2The2:2 not to become easily unsettled or alarmed by the teaching allegedly from us—whether by a prophecy or by word of mouth or by letter—asserting that the day of the Lord has already come.

2The2:10 and all the ways that wickedness deceives those who are perishing. They perish because they refused to love the truth and so be saved.

2The2:12 and so that all will be condemned who have not believed the truth but have delighted in wickedness.

2The2:13 But we ought always to thank God for you, brothers and sisters loved by the Lord, because God chose you as firstfruits to be saved through the sanctifying work of the Spirit and through belief in the truth.

2The2:14 He called you to this through our gospel, that you might share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

2The2:15So then, brothers and sisters, stand firm and hold fast to the teachings we passed on to you, whether by word of mouth or by letter.

2The2:17 encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word.

1Tim1:11 that conforms to the gospel concerning the glory of the blessed God, which he entrusted to me.

1Tim2:4 who wants all people to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth.

1Tim2:15 if I am delayed, you will know how people ought to conduct themselves in God's household, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of the truth.

1Tim4:3 They forbid people to marry and order them to abstain from certain foods, which God created to be received with thanksgiving by those who believe and who know the truth

1Tim4:5 because it is consecrated by the word of God and prayer.

1Tim4:6If you point these things out to the brothers and sisters, you will be a good minister of Christ Jesus, nourished on the truths of the faith and of the good teaching that you have followed

1Tim4:13 Until I come, devote yourself to the public reading of Scripture, to preaching and to teaching.

1Tim5:18For Scripture says, "Do not muzzle an ox while it is treading out the grain," and "Workers deserve their wages."

1Tim6:5and constant friction between people of corrupt mind, who have been robbed of the truth and who think that godliness is a means to financial gain.

2Tim1:8 So do not be ashamed of the testimony about our Lord or of me his prisoner. But join with me in suffering for the gospel, by the power of God,

2Tim1:10 but it has now been revealed through the appearing of our Savior, Christ Jesus, who has destroyed death and has brought life and immortality to light through the gospel.

2Tim1:11And of this gospel I was appointed a herald and an apostle and a teacher.

2Tim2:8Remember Jesus Christ, raised from the dead, descended from David. This is my gospel,

2Tim2:9for which I am suffering even to the point of being chained like a criminal. But God's word is not chained.

2Tim2:15 Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.

2Tim2:18 who have departed from the truth. They say that the resurrection has already taken place, and they destroy the faith of some.

2Tim2:25Opponents must be gently instructed, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth,

2Tim3:7 always learning but never able to come to a knowledge of the truth.

2Tim3:8Just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so also these teachers oppose the truth. They are men of depraved minds, who, as far as the faith is concerned, are rejected.

2Tim3:15 and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.

2Tim3:16All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness,

2Tim4:2Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction.

2Tim4:4They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.

2Tim4:13 When you come, bring the cloak that I left with Carpus at Troas, and my scrolls, especially the parchments.

2Tim4:17 But the Lord stood at my side and gave me strength, so that through me the message might be fully proclaimed and all the Gentiles might hear it. And I was delivered from the lion's mouth.

Tit1:1Paul, a servant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ to further the faith of God's elect and their knowledge of the truth that leads to godliness

Tit1:13 He has surely told the truth! Therefore rebuke them sharply, so that they will be sound in the faith

Tit1:14and will pay no attention to Jewish myths or to the merely human commands of those who reject the truth.

Tit2:5to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God.

Philemon5 because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now

Philemon13I would have liked to keep him with me so that he could take your place in helping me while I am in chains for the gospel.

Heb1:3 The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. After he had provided purification for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty in heaven.

Heb4:2For we also have had the good news proclaimed to us, just as they did; but the message they heard was of no value to them, because they did not share the faith of those who obeyed.

Heb4:4 For somewhere he has spoken about the seventh day in these words: "On the seventh day God rested from all his work."

Heb4:6Therefore since it still remains for some to enter that rest, and since those who formerly had the good news proclaimed to them did not go in because of their disobedience,

Heb4:12For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.

Heb5:12In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God's word all over again. You need milk, not solid food!

Heb6:5who have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the coming age

Heb9:19 When Moses had proclaimed every command of the law to all the people, he took the blood of calves, together with water, scarlet wool and branches of hyssop, and sprinkled the scroll and all the people

Heb10:7 Then I said, 'Here I amit is written about me in the scrollI have come to do your will, my God.' "

Heb10:26If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left,

Heb12:5And have you completely forgotten this word of encouragement that addresses you as children? It says, "My son, do not make light of the Lord's discipline, and do not lose heart when he rebukes you,

Heb12:23 to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven. You have come to God, the Judge of all, to the spirits of the righteous made perfect,

Heb12:24to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.

Heb12:27The words "once more" indicate the removing of what can be shaken—that is, created things—so that what cannot be shaken may remain.

Heb13:7Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith.

Heb13:22Brothers and sisters, I urge you to bear with my word of exhortation, for in fact I have written to you quite briefly.

Ja1:18 He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of all he created

Ja1:21Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you.

Ja1.22Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.

Ja1:23Those who listen to the word but do not do what it says are like people who look at their faces in a mirror

Ja1:25But those who look intently into the perfect law that gives freedom and continue in it—not forgetting what they have heard but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do.

Ja2:23 And the scripture was fulfilled that says, "Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness," and he was called God's friend.

Ja3:14 But if you harbor bitter envy and selfish ambition in your hearts, do not boast about it or deny the truth.

Ja4:5Or do you think Scripture says without reason that he jealously longs for the spirit he has caused to dwell in us?

Ja5:19My brothers and sisters, if one of you should wander from the truth and someone should bring them back,

Ja4:6But he gives us more grace. That is why Scripture says: "God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble and oppressed."

1Pet1:12 It was revealed to them that they were not serving themselves but you, when they spoke of the things that have now been told you by those who have preached the gospel to you by the Holy Spirit sent from heaven. Even angels long to look into these things.

1Pet1:16 for it is written: "Be holy, because I am holy."

1Pet1:23 For you have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of imperishable, through the living and enduring word of God.

1Pet1:25 but the word of the Lord endures forever." And this is the word that was preached to you.

1Pet2:6For in Scripture it says: "See, I lay a stone in Zion,
       a
chosen and precious cornerstone, and the one who trusts in him will never be put to shame."

1Pet3:1Wives, in the same way submit yourselves to your own husbands so that, if any of them do not believe the word, they may be won over without words by the behavior of their wives,

1Pet4:6For this is the reason the gospel was preached even to those who are now dead, so that they might be judged according to human standards in regard to the body, but live according to God in regard to the spirit.

1Pet4:11If you speak, you should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If you serve, you should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.

1Pet4:17 For it is time for judgment to begin with God's household; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God?

1Pet5:12 With the help of Silas, whom I regard as a faithful brother, I have written to you briefly, encouraging you and testifying that this is the true grace of God. Stand fast in it.

2Pet1:12 So I will always remind you of these things, even though you know them and are firmly established in the truth you now have.

2Pet1:20Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet's own interpretation of things.

2Pet2:2 Many will follow their depraved conduct and will bring the way of truth into disrepute.

2Pet3:1Dear friends, this is now my second letter to you. I have written both of them as reminders to stimulate you to wholesome thinking.

2Pet3:2I want you to recall the words spoken in the past by the holy prophets and the command given by our Lord and Savior through your apostles.

2Pet3:5But they deliberately forget that long ago by God's word the heavens came into being and the earth was formed out of water and by water

2Pet3:7By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly.

1Jn1:1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked at and our hands have touched—this we proclaim concerning the Word of life.

1Jn1:6 If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth.

1Jn1:8If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.

1Jn1:10 If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us.

1Jn2:4Those who say, "I know him," but do not do what he commands are liars, and the truth is not in them.

1Jn2:5But if anyone obeys his word, love for God is truly made complete in them. This is how we know we are in him:

1Jn2:6 Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did.

1Jn2:8Yet I am writing you a new command; its truth is seen in him and in you, because the darkness is passing and the true light is already shining.

1Jn2:14I write to you, dear children, because you know the Father.
I write to you, fathers, because
you know him who is from the beginning. I write to you, young people, because you are strong,
       and
the word of God lives in you, and you have overcome the evil one.

1Jn2:17The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever

1Jn2:20But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth.

1Jn2:21I do not write to you because you do not know the truth, but because you do know it and because no lie comes from the truth.

1Jn3:18 Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.

1Jn3:19This is how we know that we belong to the truth and how we set our hearts at rest in his presence:

1Jn4:6We are from God, and whoever knows God listens to us; but whoever is not from God does not listen to us. This is how we recognize the Spirit of truth and the spirit of falsehood.

1Jn5:6This is the one who came by water and blood—Jesus Christ. He did not come by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit who testifies, because the Spirit is the truth

2Jn1:1The elder,  To the lady chosen by God and to her children, whom I love in the truth—and not I only, but also all who know the truth

2Jn1:2 because of the truth, which lives in us and will be with us forever:

2Jn1:3Grace, mercy and peace from God the Father and from Jesus Christ, the Father's Son, will be with us in truth and love.

2Jn1:4It has given me great joy to find some of your children walking in the truth, just as the Father commanded us.

3Jn1:1The elder, To my dear friend Gaius, whom I love in the truth.

3Jn1:3 It gave me great joy to have some believers come and testify to your faithfulness to the truth, telling how you continue to walk in it.

3Jn1:4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.

3Jn1:8 We ought therefore to show hospitality to such people so that we may work together for the truth.

3Jn1:12 Demetrius is well spoken of by everyone—and even by the truth itself. We also speak well of him, and you know that our testimony is true.

Jude4For certain individuals whose condemnation was written about long ago have secretly slipped in among you. They are ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only Sovereign and Lord.

Rev1:2 who testifies to everything he saw—that is, the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ

Rev1:3Blessed is the one who reads aloud the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is in it, because the time is near.

Rev1:9I, John, your brother and companion in the suffering and kingdom and patient endurance that are ours in Jesus, was on the island of Patmos because of the word of God and the testimony of Jesus.

Rev1:11 which said: "Write on a scroll what you see and send it to the seven churches: to Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia and Laodicea."

Rev2:1 "To the angel of the church in Ephesus write:  These are the words of him who holds the seven stars in his right hand and walks among the seven golden lampstands.

Rev2:8 "To the angel of the church in Smyrna write: These are the words of him who is the First and the Last, who died and came to life again.

Rev2:12"To the angel of the church in Pergamum write: These are the words of him who has the sharp, double-edged sword.

Rev2:17 Whoever has ears, let them hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To those who are victorious, I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give each of them a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to the one who receives it.

Rev2:18 "To the angel of the church in Thyatira write: These are the words of the Son of God, whose eyes are like blazing fire and whose feet are like burnished bronze.

Rev3:1 "To the angel of the church in Sardis write: These are the words of him who holds the seven spirits of God and the seven stars. I know your deeds; you have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead.

Rev3:5Those who are victorious will, like them, be dressed in white. I will never blot out their names from the book of life, but will acknowledge their names before my Father and his angels.

Rev3:7"To the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: These are the words of him who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open.

Rev3:8I know your deeds. See, I have placed before you an open door that no one can shut. I know that you have little strength, yet you have kept my word and have not denied my name.

Rev3:14 "To the angel of the church in Laodicea write: These are the words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the ruler of God's creation.

Rev5:1 Then I saw in the right hand of him who sat on the throne a scroll with writing on both sides and sealed with seven seals.

Rev5:2And I saw a mighty angel proclaiming in a loud voice, "Who is worthy to break the seals and open the scroll?"

Rev5:3But no one in heaven or on earth or under the earth could open the scroll or even look inside it.

Rev5:4 I wept and wept because no one was found who was worthy to open the scroll or look inside.

Rev5:5Then one of the elders said to me, "Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals."

Rev5:7He went and took the scroll from the right hand of him who sat on the throne.

Rev5:8And when he had taken it, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp and they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of God's people.

Rev5:9 And they sang a new song, saying: "You are worthy to take the scroll and to open its seals, because you were slain, and with your blood you purchased for God members of every tribe and language and people and nation.

Rev6:9 When he opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain because of the word of God and the testimony they had maintained

Rev6:14The sky receded like a scroll, rolling up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place

Rev10:2 He was holding a little scroll, which lay open in his hand. He planted his right foot on the sea and his left foot on the land,

Rev10:8Then the voice that I had heard from heaven spoke to me once more: "Go, take the scroll that lies open in the hand of the angel who is standing on the sea and on the land."

Rev10:9So I went to the angel and asked him to give me the little scroll. He said to me, "Take it and eat it. It will turn your stomach sour, but 'in your mouth it will be as sweet as honey.'"

Rev10:10I took the little scroll from the angel's hand and ate it. It tasted as sweet as honey in my mouth, but when I had eaten it, my stomach turned sour.

Rev12:11They triumphed over him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.

Rev13:8 All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast—all whose names have not been written in the Lamb's book of life, the Lamb who was slain from the creation of the world.

Rev14:6 Then I saw another angel flying in midair, and he had the eternal gospel to proclaim to those who live on the earth—to every nation, tribe, language and people

Rev17:5This title was written on her forehead:  MYSTERY BABYLON THE GREAT THE MOTHER OF PROSTITUTES AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

Rev17:8 The beast, which you saw, once was, now is not, and will come up out of the Abyss and go to its destruction. The inhabitants of the earth whose names have not been written in the book of life from the creation of the world will be astonished when they see the beast, because it once was, now is not, and yet will come.

Rev17:17For God has put it into their hearts to accomplish his purpose by agreeing to give the beast their power to rule, until God's words are fulfilled.

Rev19:9Then the angel said to me, "Write: 'Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding supper of the Lamb!' " And he added, "These are the true words of God."

Rev19:12His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself.

Rev19:13He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God.

Rev19:16On his robe and on his thigh he has this name written:
KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.

Rev20:4I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or his image and had not received his mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

Rev20:12 And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Another book was opened, which is the book of life. The dead were judged according to what they had done as recorded in the books.

Rev20:15All whose names were not found written in the book of life were thrown into the lake of fire

Rev21:5He who was seated on the throne said, "I am making everything new!" Then he said, "Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true."

Rev21:12It had a great, high wall with twelve gates, and with twelve angels at the gates. On the gates were written the names of the twelve tribes of Israel.

Rev21:27Nothing impure will ever enter it, nor will anyone who does what is shameful or deceitful, but only those whosE names are written in the lamb’s book of life.

Rev22:6The angel said to me, "These words are trustworthy and true. The Lord, the God who inspires the prophets, sent his angel to show his servants the things that must soon take place."

Rev22:7"Look, I am coming soon! Blessed are those who keep the words of the prophecy in this scroll."

Rev22:9But he said to me, "Don't do that! I am a fellow servant with you and with your fellow prophets and with all who keep the words of this scroll. Worship God!"

Rev22:10Then he told me, "Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this scroll, because the time is near

Rev22:18I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll: If any one of you adds anything to them, God will add to you the plagues described in this scroll.

Rev22:19And if any one of you takes words away from this scroll of prophecy, God will take away from you your share in the tree of life and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll.
