Prison

Mat_4:12  When Jesus heard that John had been put in prison, he withdrew to Galilee.

Mat_5:25  "Settle matters quickly with your adversary who is taking you to court. Do it while you are still together on the way, or your adversary may hand you over to the judge, and the judge may hand you over to the officer, and you may be thrown into prison. 

Mat_11:2  When John, who was in prison, heard about the deeds of the Messiah, he sent his disciples

Mat_14:3  Now Herod had arrested John and bound him and put him in prison because of Herodias, his brother Philip's wife,

Mat_14:10  and had John beheaded in the prison.

Mat_18:30  "But he refused. Instead, he went off and had the man thrown into prison until he could pay the debt. 

Mat_25:36  I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.' 

Mat_25:39  When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?'

Mat_25:44  "They also will answer, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?' 

Mar_1:14  After John was put in prison, Jesus went into Galilee, proclaiming the good news of God.

Mar_6:17  For Herod himself had given orders to have John arrested, and he had him bound and put in prison. He did this because of Herodias, his brother Philip's wife, whom he had married.

Mar_6:27  So he immediately sent an executioner with orders to bring John's head. The man went, beheaded John in the prison,

Luk_22:33  But he replied, "Lord, I am ready to go with you to prison and to death."

Luk_23:19  (Barabbas had been thrown into prison for an insurrection in the city, and for murder.)

Luk_23:25  He released the man who had been thrown into prison for insurrection and murder, the one they asked for, and surrendered Jesus to their will.

Joh_3:24  (This was before John was put in prison.)

Act_8:3  But Saul began to destroy the church. Going from house to house, he dragged off both men and women and put them in prison.

Act_12:4  After arresting him, he put him in prison, handing him over to be guarded by four squads of four soldiers each. Herod intended to bring him out for public trial after the Passover.

Act_12:5  So Peter was kept in prison, but the church was earnestly praying to God for him.

Act_12:9  Peter followed him out of the prison, but he had no idea that what the angel was doing was really happening; he thought he was seeing a vision.

Act_16:23  After they had been severely flogged, they were thrown into prison, and the jailer was commanded to guard them carefully.

Act_16:26  Suddenly there was such a violent earthquake that the foundations of the prison were shaken. At once all the prison doors flew open, and everyone's chains came loose.

Act_16:27  The jailer woke up, and when he saw the prison doors open, he drew his sword and was about to kill himself because he thought the prisoners had escaped.

Act_16:37  But Paul said to the officers: "They beat us publicly without a trial, even though we are Roman citizens, and threw us into prison. And now do they want to get rid of us quietly? No! Let them come themselves and escort us out."

Act_16:39  They came to appease them and escorted them from the prison, requesting them to leave the city.

Act_16:40  After Paul and Silas came out of the prison, they went to Lydia's house, where they met with the brothers and sisters and encouraged them. Then they left.

Act_20:23  I only know that in every city the Holy Spirit warns me that prison and hardships are facing me.

Act_22:4  I persecuted the followers of this Way to their death, arresting both men and women and throwing them into prison,

Act_24:27  When two years had passed, Felix was succeeded by Porcius Festus, but because Felix wanted to grant a favor to the Jews, he left Paul in prison.

Rom_16:7  Greet Andronicus and Junia, my fellow Jews who have been in prison with me. They are outstanding among the apostles, and they were in Christ before I was.

2Co_11:23  Are they servants of Christ? (I am out of my mind to talk like this.) I am more. I have worked much harder, been in prison more frequently, been flogged more severely, and been exposed to death again and again.

Heb_10:34  You suffered along with those in prison and joyfully accepted the confiscation of your property, because you knew that you yourselves had better and lasting possessions.

Heb_13:3  Continue to remember those in prison as if you were together with them in prison, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering.

Rev_2:10  Do not be afraid of what you are about to suffer. I tell you, the devil will put some of you in prison to test you, and you will suffer persecution for ten days. Be faithful, even to the point of death, and I will give you life as your victor's crown. 

Rev_20:7  When the thousand years are over, Satan will be released from his prison
