Exo19:5Now if you obey me fully and keep my covenant, then out of all nations you will be my treasured possession. Although the whole earth is mine,
Exo19:6 you will be for me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation.’ These are the words you are to speak to the Israelites.”
Exo19:7 So Moses went back and summoned the elders of the people and set before them all the words the LORD had commanded him to speak.
Exo19:8The people all responded together, “We will do everything the LORD has said.” So Moses brought their answer back to the LORD.
The Ten Commandments
Exo20:1And God spoke all these words:
Exo20:2 “I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.
Exo20:3“You shall have no other gods before me.
Exo20:4“You shall not make for yourself an image in the form of anything in heaven above or on the earth beneath or in the waters below.
Exo20:5You shall not bow down to them or worship them; for I, the LORD your God, am a jealous God, punishing the children for the sin of the parents to the third and fourth generation of those who hate me,
Exo20:6 but showing love to a thousand generations of those who love me and keep my commandments.
Exo20:7“You shall not misuse the name of the LORD your God, for the LORD will not hold anyone guiltless who misuses his name.
Exo20:8“Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it holy.
Exo20:9Six days you shall labor and do all your work,
Exo20:10but the seventh day is a sabbath to the LORD your God. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or daughter, nor your male or female servant, nor your animals, nor any foreigner residing in your towns.
Exo20:11For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and made it holy.
Exo20:12“Honor your father and your mother, so that you may live long in the land the LORD your God is giving you.
Exo20:13“You shall not murder.
Exo20:14“You shall not commit adultery.
Exo20:15“You shall not steal.
Exo20:16“You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor.
Exo20:17“You shall not covet your neighbor’s house. You shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, or his male or female servant, his ox or donkey, or anything that belongs to your neighbor.”
Exo21:1“These are the laws you are to set before them:
Exo24:1Then the LORD said to Moses, “Come up to the LORD, you and Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel. You are to worship at a distance,
Exo24:2 but Moses alone is to approach the LORD; the others must not come near. And the people may not come up with him.”
Exo24:3 When Moses went and told the people all the LORD’s words and laws, they responded with one voice, “Everything the LORD has said we will do.”
Exo24:4 Moses then wrote down everything the LORD had said. He got up early the next morning and built an altar at the foot of the mountain and set up twelve stone pillars representing the twelve tribes of Israel
Exo24:5 Then he sent young Israelite men, and they offered burnt offerings and sacrificed young bulls as fellowship offerings to the LORD.
Exo24:6Moses took half of the blood and put it in bowls, and the other half he splashed against the altar.
Exo24:7Then he took the Book of the Covenant and read it to the people. They responded, “We will do everything the LORD has said; we will obey.”
Exo24:8Moses then took the blood, sprinkled it on the people and said, “This is the blood of the covenant that the LORD has made with you in accordance with all these words.”
Exo24:12The LORD said to Moses, “Come up to me on the mountain and stay here, and I will give you the tablets of stone with the law and commandments I have written for their instruction.”
Exo34:1The LORD said to Moses, “Chisel out two stone tablets like the first ones, and I will write on them the words that were on the first tablets, which you broke.
Exo34:10Then the LORD said: “I am making a covenant with you. Before all your people I will do wonders never before done in any nation in all the world. The people you live among will see how awesome is the work that I, the LORD, will do for you.
Exo34:11Obey what I command you today. I will drive out before you the Amorites, Canaanites, Hittites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites.
Exo34:27Then the LORD said to Moses, “Write down these words, for in accordance with these words I have made a covenant with you and with Israel.”
Exo34:28 Moses was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights without eating bread or drinking water. And he wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant—the Ten Commandments.
Exo34:29When Moses came down from Mount Sinai with the two tablets of the covenant law in his hands, he was not aware that his face was radiant because he had spoken with the LORD.
Exo34:32Afterward all the Israelites came near him, and he gave them all the commands the LORD had given him on Mount Sinai.
Exo35:1 Moses assembled the whole Israelite community and said to them, “These are the things the LORD has commanded you to do:
Exo35:2For six days, work is to be done, but the seventh day shall be your holy day, a day of sabbath rest to the LORD. Whoever does any work on it is to be put to death.
Exo35:3Do not light a fire in any of your dwellings on the Sabbath day.”
Exo35:4Moses said to the whole Israelite community, “This is what the LORD has commanded:
Exo35:5From what you have, take an offering for the LORD. Everyone who is willing is to bring to the LORD an offering of gold, silver and bronze;
Exo40:1Then the LORD said to Moses:
Exo40:2“Set up the tabernacle, the tent of meeting, on the first day of the first month.
Exo40:3Place the ark of the covenant law in it and shield the ark with the curtain
Exo40:20He took the tablets of the covenant law and placed them in the ark, attached the poles to the ark and put the atonement cover over it.
Ex40:21Then he brought the ark into the tabernacle and hung the shielding curtain and shielded the ark of the covenant law, as the LORD commanded him.
Jer31:31 “The days are coming,” declares the LORD, “when I will make a new covenant with the people of Israel and with the people of Judah.
Jer31:32 It will not be like the covenant I made with their ancestors
when I took them by the hand to lead them out of Egypt, because they broke my covenant, though I was a husband to them, declares the LORD.
Jer31:33This is the covenant I will make with the house of Israel after that time, “declares The lord. “ I will put My law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be My people
Jer31:34No longer will they teach their neighbors or say to one another, ‘Know the Lord, ‘because they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest , “For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more
Isa42:1 “Here is my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen one in whom I delight; I will put my Spirit on him, and he will bring justice to the nations.
Isa42:6 “I, the LORD, have called you in righteousness; I will take hold of your hand. I will keep you and will make you to be a covenant for the people and a light for the Gentiles,
Isa48:17This is what the Lord says- Your Redeemer, The Holy One of Israel: “I am the Lord Your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go
Isa48:18If only you had paid attention to My commands, your peace would have been like a river, your well-being like the waves of the sea.
Isa 54:13All your children will be taught by the Lord and great will be their peace
Isa59:21 “As for me, this is my covenant with them,” says the LORD. “My Spirit, who is on you, will not depart from you, and my words that I have put in your mouth will always be on your lips, on the lips of your children and on the lips of their descendants—from this time on and forever,” says the LORD.
Mal3:1 “I will send my messenger, who will prepare the way before me. Then suddenly the Lord you are seeking will come to his temple; the messenger of the covenant, whom you desire, will come,” says the LORD Almighty.
Mt5:17 Do not think That I have come to abolish the law or the prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them
Mt26:28This is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins
Mk14:24This is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many, “He said to them
Lk1:72to show mercy to our ancestors and to remember his holy covenant,
Lk4:43But he said, "I must proclaim the good news of the kingdom of God to the other towns also, because that is why I was sent."
Lk5:16But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.
Lk6:12One of those days Jesus went out to a mountainside to pray, and spent the night praying to God.
Lk6:13When morning came, he called his disciples to him and chose twelve of them, whom he also designated apostles:
Lk12:50 But I have a baptism to undergo, and what constraint I am under until it is completed!
Lk22:20 In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.
Jn1:12Yet to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His Name, He gave the right to become children of God
Jn1:13children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband’s will, but born of God
Jn3:3Jesus replied, Very truly I tell you, no one can see the Kingdom of God without being born again
Jn3:5Jesus answered, Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit
Jn3:6Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit give birth to spirit
Jn5:38nor does His word dwell in you, for you do not believe the one He sent
Jn6:45It is written in the prophets: They will all be taught by God. Every one who has heard the Father and learned from him comes to Me
Jn8:26I have much to say in judgment of you. But He who sent Me is trustworthy, and what I have heard from Him I tell the world
Jn8:28So Jesus said, When you have lifted up The Son of Man, then you will know that I am He and that I do nothing on My own but speak just what the Father has taught Me
Jhn12:49 For I did not speak on My own, but the Father Who sent Me commanded Me to say all that I have spoken
Jhn12:50 I know that His command leads to eternal life. So whatever I say is just what the Father has told Me to say Having loved His own who were in the world, He loved them to the end
Jhn13:1 It was just before the Passover Festival. Jesus knew that the hour had come for Him to leave this world and go to the Father.
Jn14:26But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My Name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you
Jn17:6I have revealed You to those You gave Me out of the world. They were yours; You gave them to Me and they have obeyed Your word.
Jn17:7Now they know that everything You have given Me comes from You.
Jn17:8For I gave them the words You gave Me and they accepted them. They knew with certainty that I came from You, and they believed that You sent Me
Jn17:9I pray for them. I am not praying for the world, but for those You have given Me, for they are Yours
Jn17.10All I have is yours, and all you have is mine. And glory has come to me through them.
Jn17.11I will remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name, the name you gave me, so that they may be one as we are one.
Jn17.12While I was with them, I protected them and kept them safe by that name you gave me. None has been lost except the one doomed to destruction so that Scripture would be fulfilled.
Jn17.13"I am coming to you now, but I say these things while I am still in the world, so that they may have the full measure of my joy within them.
Jn17.14 I have given them your word and the world has hated them, for they are not of the world any more than I am of the world.
Jn17.15My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one.
Jn17.16They are not of the world, even as I am not of it.
Jn17.17Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth.
Jn17.18As you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world.
Jn17.19For them I sanctify myself, that they too may be truly sanctified.
Jhn17:24 Father, I want those You have given Me to be with Me where I am, and to see My Glory, the Glory You have given Me because You loved Me before the creation of the world
Jhn17:25 Righteous Father, though the world does not know you, I know You, and they know that You have sent Me
Jhn17:26 I have made you known to them, and will continue to make you known in order that the love You have for Me may be in them and that I Myself may be in them.
Ro 2:13For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous in God’s sight, but it is those who obey the law who will be declared righteous.
Ro2:15They show that the requirements of the law are written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts now accusing, now even defending them
Ro2:29No, a person is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is circumcision of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the written code. Such a person's praise is not from other people, but from God.
Ro6:17 But thanks be to God that, though you used to be slaves to sin, you have come to obey from your heart the pattern of teaching that has now claimed your allegiance.
Ro7:6But now, by dying to what once bound us, we have been released from the law so that we serve in the new way of the Spirit, and not in the old way of the written code
Ro7:22 For in my inner being I delight in God's law;
Ro8:2because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death
Ro8:13 For if you live according to the sinful nature, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live.
Ro11:27And this is my covenant with them when I take away their sins."
Ro12:2 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.
1Cor11:25In the same way, after supper He took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood; do this, whenever you drink it, in remembrance of Me.
2Cor 3:3You show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not with ink but with the Spirit of the Living God, not on tablets of stone but on tablets of human hearts
2Cor3:6He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant- not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.
2Cor 3:7Now if the ministry that brought death, which was engraved in letters on stone, came with glory, so that the Israelites could not look steadily at the face of Moses because of its glory, transitory though it was,
2Cor 3:8will not the ministry of The Spirit be even more glorious
2Cor 3:9If the ministry that brought condemnation was glorious, how much more glorious is the ministry that brings righteousness
2Cor 3:10For what was glorious has no glory now in comparison with the surpassing glory.
2Cor 3:11And if what was transitory came with glory, how much greater is the glory of that which lasts!
2Cor 3:12Therefore, since we have such a hope, we are very bold.
2Cor 3:13We are not like Moses, who would put a veil over his face to prevent the Israelites from seeing the end of what was passing away
2Cor 3:14But their minds were made dull, for to this day the same veil remains when the old covenant is read. It has not been removed, because only in Christ it is taken away
2Cor 3:15Even to this day when Moses is read, a veil covers their heart
2Cor3:16But whenever anyone turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away
2Cor3:17Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
2Cor3:18And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s Glory, are being transformed into His image with ever increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit
2Cor6:16What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be My people”
2Cor 6:18And,”I will be a Father to you, and you will be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.
2Cor13:14May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
Gal2:20I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
Eph4.23 to be made new in the attitude of your minds;
Eph4.24and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.
Heb7:22 Because of this oath, Jesus has become the guarantor of a better covenant
Heb8:6 But in fact the ministry Jesus has received is as superior to theirs as the covenant of which He is mediator is superior to the old one, since the covenant is established on better promises
Heb8:7 For if there had been nothing wrong with that first covenant, no place would have been sought for another
Heb8:8 But God found fault with the people and said: “The days are coming, declares the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah
Heb8:9 It will not be like the covenant I made with their ancestors when I took them by the hand to lead them out of Egypt, because they did not remain faithful to My covenant, and I turned away from them, declares the Lord
Heb8:10This is the covenant I will establish with the house of Israel after that time, declares the Lord. I will put My law in their minds and write them on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be My people.
Heb8:13By calling this covenant “new”, He has made the first one obsolete; and what is obsolete and outdated will soon disappear
Heb 9.11But when Christ came as high priest of the good things that are now already here, he went through the greater and more perfect tabernacle that is not made with human hands, that is to say, is not a part of this creation.
Heb 9.12 He did not enter by means of the blood of goats and calves; but he entered the Most Holy Place once for all by his own blood, thus obtaining eternal redemption.
Heb9:14How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the Eternal Spirit offered Himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death so that we may serve the living God.
Heb9:15For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance-now that He has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant
Heb9:19When Moses had proclaimed every command of the law to all the people, he took the blood of calves, together with water, scarlet wool and branches of hyssop, and sprinkled the scroll and all the people
Heb9:20He said; “This is the blood of the covenant, which god has commanded you to keep.”
Heb9:22 In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness
Heb9:24For Christ did not enter a sanctuary made with human hands that was only a copy of the true one; He entered heaven itself, now to appear for us in God’s presence
Heb 10:15 The Holy Spirit also testifies to us about this. First He says:
Heb10:16This is the covenant I will make with them after that time, says the Lord. I will put My laws in their hearts, and will write them on their minds
Heb10:17 Then he adds: Their sins and lawless acts I will remember no more”( Heb9:15For this reason Christ is the mediator of a new covenant, that those who are called may receive the promised eternal inheritance-now that He has died as a ransom to set them free from the sins committed under the first covenant )
Heb10:18And where these have been forgiven, sacrifice for sin is no longer necessary
Heb12:22But you have come to Mount Zion, to the city of the Living God, the heavenly Jerusalem. You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly
Heb12:23to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven. You have come to God, the judge of all the spirits of the righteous made perfect
Heb12:24To Jesus the Mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel
Heb13:20Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep.
1Jn2:27As for you, the anointing you received from Him remains in you, and you do not need any one to teach you. But as His anointing teaches you about all things and as that anointing is real, not counterfeit- just as it has taught you, remain in Him
