In Him

Mt14:2 and he said to his attendants, "This is John the Baptist; he has risen from the dead! That is why miraculous powers are at work in him."

 

Mt27:42"He saved others," they said, "but he can't save himself! He's the king of Israel! Let him come down now from the cross, and we will believe in him.

 

Mk6:14King Herod heard about this, for Jesus' name had become well known. Some were saying, "John the Baptist has been raised from the dead, and that is why miraculous powers are at work in him."

Lk23:22For the third time he spoke to them: "Why? What crime has this man committed? I have found in him no grounds for the death penalty. Therefore I will have him punished and then release him."

Jn7:31Still, many in the crowd put their faith in him. They said, "When the Messiah comes, will he perform more signs than this man?"

Jn7:39By this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified.

Jn7:48"Have any of the rulers or of the Pharisees believed in him?

Jn8:30 Even as he spoke, many put their faith in him.

Jn8:44You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father's desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

Jn12:11for on account of him many of the Jews were going over to Jesus and putting their faith in him.

Jn12:42Yet at the same time many even among the leaders believed in him. But because of the Pharisees they would not openly acknowledge their faith for fear they would be put out of the synagogue;

Jn13:31When he was gone, Jesus said, "Now is the Son of Man glorified and God is glorified in him.

 

Jn13:32If God is glorified in him, God will glorify the Son in himself, and will glorify him at once.

 

Ro4:24but also for us, to whom God will credit righteousness—for us who believe in him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead.

Ro9:33As it is written: “See, I lay in Zion a stone that causes people to stumble and a rock that makes them fall, and the one who believes in Him will never be put to shame.”

1Jn2:28And now, dear children, continue in him, so that when he appears we may be confident and unashamed before him at his coming.

 

1Jn3:3All who have this hope in him purify themselves, just as he is pure.

1Jn3:5But you know that he appeared so that he might take away our sins. And in him is no sin.

1Jn3:6No one who lives in him keeps on sinning. No one who continues to sin has either seen him or known him.

1Jn3:24Those who keep his commands live in him, and he in them. And this is how we know that he lives in us: We know it by the Spirit he gave us. 

1Jn4:13This is how we know that we live in him and he in us: He has given us of his Spirit.

1Jn5:20We know also that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true. And we are in him who is true by being in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life.
