Mt26:41Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing but the flesh is weak

Mt26:42 He went away a second time and prayed, "My Father, if it is not possible for this cup to be taken away unless I drink it, may your will be done."

Mt26:44So he left them and went away once more and prayed the third time, saying the same thing.

Mk1:35 Very early in the morning, while it was still dark, Jesus got up, left the house and went off to a solitary place, where he prayed.

Mk6:41Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke the loaves. Then he gave them to his disciples to set before the people. He also divided the two fish among them all.

Mk8:6He told the crowd to sit down on the ground. When he had taken the seven loaves and given thanks, he broke them and gave them to his disciples to set before the people, and they did so.

Mk14:38Watch and pray so that you will not fall into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak."

Mk14:39Once more he went away and prayed the same thing.

Lk1:13But the angel said to him: "Do not be afraid, Zechariah; your prayer has been heard. Your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you are to call him John.

Lk2:37and then had been a widow for eighty-four years. [h] She never left the temple but worshiped night and day, fasting and praying.

Lk3:21When all the people were being baptized, Jesus was baptized too. And as He was praying, heaven was opened

Lk3:22and The Holy Spirit descended on Him in bodily form like a dove. And a voice came from heaven: You are My Son, whom I love; with You I am well pleased”

Lk5:16But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.

Lk6:12One of those days Jesus went out to a mountainside to pray, and spent the night praying to God.

Lk9:16Taking the five loaves and the two fish and looking up to heaven, he gave thanks and broke them. Then he gave them to the disciples to set before the people.

Lk9:18Once when Jesus was praying in private and his disciples were with him, he asked them, "Who do the crowds say I am?"

Lk9:28About eight days after Jesus said this, he took Peter, John and James with him and went up onto a mountain to pray.

Lk9:29 As He was praying, the appearance of His face changed and His clothes became as bright as a flash of lightning

Lk 9:30Two men, Moses and Elijah

Lk9:31 appeared in glorius splendor talking with Jesus. They spoke about His departure, which He was about to bring to fulfillment at Jerusalem.

Lk9:32 Peter and his companions were very sleepy.

Lk9:33As the men were leaving Jesus, Peter said to Him,”Master it is good for us to be here. Let us put up three shelters –one for You, one for Moses and one for Elijah (He did not know what he was saying)

Lk9:34While he was speaking, a cloud appeared and covered them, and they were afraid as they entered the cloud Lk9:35A Voice came from the cloud, saying, “This is My Son, Whom I have chosen; listen to Him.”

Lk9:36When the voice had spoken, they found that Jesus was alone. The disciples kept this to themselves and did not tell anyone at that time what they had seen

Lk11:1One day Jesus was praying in a certain place. When he finished, one of his disciples said to him, "Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples."

Lk11:2He said to them, "When you pray, say: " 'Father, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come.

Lk11:3Give us each day our daily bread.

Lk11:4Forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who sins against us.  And lead us not into temptation.' "

Lk11:9So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you

Lk11:10For everyone who asks receives; those who seek find; and to those who knock, the door will be opened.

Lk18:1Then Jesus told His disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up

Lk18:7 And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones, who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off?

Lk18:10 "Two men went up to the temple to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector.

Lk18:11 The Pharisee stood by himself and prayed: 'God, I thank you that I am not like other people—robbers, evildoers, adulterers—or even like this tax collector.

Lk19:46 "It is written," he said to them," 'My house will be a house of prayer'; but you have made it 'a den of robbers.' "

Lk20:47 They devour widows' houses and for a show make lengthy prayers. These men will be punished most severely."

Lk21:36 Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man."

Lk21:37 Each day Jesus was teaching at the temple, and each evening he went out to spend the night on the hill called the Mount of Olives,

Lk22:32 But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers."

Lk22:39 Jesus went out as usual to the Mount of Olives, and his disciples followed him.

Lk22:40 On reaching the place, he said to them, "Pray that you will not fall into temptation."

Lk22:41 He withdrew about a stone's throw beyond them, knelt down and prayed,

Lk22:42 "Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done."

Lk22:43 An angel from heaven appeared to him and strengthened him.

Lk22:44 And being in anguish, he prayed more earnestly, and his sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground. [b]

Lk22:45 When he rose from prayer and went back to the disciples, he found them asleep, exhausted from sorrow.

Lk22:46 "Why are you sleeping?" he asked them. "Get up and pray so that you will not fall into temptation."

Lk24:30When He was at the table with them, He took bread, gave thanks, broke it and began to give it to them

Jn3:32He testifies to what He has seen and heard, but no one accepts His testimony

Jn6.11 Jesus then took the loaves, gave thanks, and distributed to those who were seated as much as they wanted. He did the same with the fish.

Jn11:41So they took away the stone. Then Jesus looked up and said, Father, I thank you that you have heard Me

Jn11:42I knew that you always hear Me, but I say this for the benefit of the people standing here, that they may believe that you sent me

Jn15:7If you remain in Me and My words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you

Jn16:24Until now you have not asked for anything in My Name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete

Jn17:1After Jesus said this, He looked toward heaven and prayed . Father, the hour has come. Glorify Your Son, that Your Son may glorify you.

Jn17:2For you granted him authority over all people that He might give eternal life to all those you have given Him                                                       Jn17:3Now this is eternal life; that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent

Jn17:4I have brought you glory on earth by finishing the work you gave Me to do

Jn17:5And now Father, glorify Me in your presence with the Glory I had with You before the world began.

Jn17:6I have revealed You to those You gave Me out of the world. They were yours; You gave them to Me and they have obeyed Your word.

Jn17:7Now they know that everything You have given Me comes from You

Jn17:8For I gave them the words You gave Me and they accepted them. They knew with certainty that I came from You, and they believed that You sent Me

Jn17:9I pray for them. I am not praying for the world, but for those you have given Me, for they are yours

Jn17:10All I have is yours, and all you have is mine. And glory has come to Me through them.

Jn17:11I will remain in the world no longer but they are still in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, protect them by the power of your Name, the name you gave Me, so that they may be one as we are one

Jn17:12While I was with them, I protected them and kept them safe by that name you gave Me. None has been lost except the one doomed to destruction so that scripture would be fulfilled.

Jn17:13I am coming to you now, but I say these things while I am still in the world, so that they have the full measure of my joy within them.

Jn17:14I have given them your word and the world has hated them, for they are not of the world any more than I am of the world.

Jn17:15 My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one.

Jn17:16They are not of the world, even as I am not of it.

Jn17:17Sanctify them by the truth; your word is truth

Jn17:18as you sent me into the world, I have sent them into the world

Jn17:19For them I sanctify myself, that they too may be truly sanctified

Jn17:20My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in Me through their message

Jn17:21That all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in Me and I am in You. May they also be in Us so that the world may believe that You have sent Me.

Jn17:22I have given them the Glory that You gave Me, that they may be one as We are one

Jn17:23I in them and You in Me-so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that You sent Me, and have loved them even as You have loved Me

Jn17:24Father, I want those You have given Me to be with Me where I am, and to see My Glory, the Glory You have given Me because You Loved Me before the creation of the world

Jn17:25Righteous Father, though the world does not know You, I know You, and they know that You have sent Me

Jn17:26I have made You known to them, and will continue to make You known, in order that the love You have for Me may be in them and that I Myself may be in them
